This brewery has brewed beer on site since 1990 using traditional methods: unpasteurised and unfiltered, in hand-hammered copper kettles. It describes itself as Denmark's oldest microbrewery. The core range is a Czech-style pilsner, a classic, an IPA and a dark Dunkel lager, and special beers change through the year, from winter to summer styles.
It stands next to the main entrance of Tivoli and shares its premises with the restaurant A Hereford Beefstouw, which serves the food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available, along with wine, cocktails and coffee. Tables can be reserved, and it suits groups. Seating is wheelchair accessible, but the parking is not.
