This basement restaurant in central Copenhagen serves classic smørrebrød (Danish open sandwiches) and traditional Danish dishes, made from scratch with fresh, seasonal ingredients chosen by the head chef. The dinner menu from 5 pm includes wienerschnitzel, roast pork, krebinetter (breaded pork patties) and salmon, and there is a set menu with starter, main and dessert.
It is known for its julefrokost, the traditional Christmas lunch, so book early. Tables can be booked, and guests are welcome for a quick lunch, dinner or private celebration. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible, and dogs are not allowed.
