This café and restaurant in Odense opened in 1988 and is inspired by French café-brasserie culture. It is named after Saint Gertrude, and the street it stands on bears her name after a small chapel from the 1400s. By day it serves drinks, brunch and lunch, and in the evening an à la carte menu and a changing monthly menu. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxed.
Wednesdays bring moules frites, and weekends have Late Night events with live music. Tables can be booked online, except on Saturdays from 11.15 am to 5 pm. The kitchen closes earlier than the opening hours. There is outdoor seating and gift cards, and cards and mobile payments are accepted.
