This organisation is one of the 14 regional branches of a Danish sports association and covers 11 municipalities in and around Copenhagen: Ballerup, Dragør, Frederiksberg, Gentofte, Gladsaxe, Herlev, Hvidovre, Copenhagen, Lyngby-Taarbæk, Rødovre and Tårnby. It calls itself a development house for sports associations and represents more than 600 different clubs.
It works with municipalities, national sports federations, institutions and local actors, with a particular focus on municipal partnerships.
