This Belgian charcuterie shop in Copenhagen sells handmade cured and smoked meats from the Belgian part of the Ardennes. The meat is brined, with the brine stirred once a week, dried for four weeks and smoked over beech wood, without additives. The shop also stocks Belgian quality beers, including Trappist beers such as Orval, Rochefort and Westmalle, cheese from Orval abbey made to the original Port Salut recipe, and Belgian chocolate.
A small wine selection builds on ten years of wine import, and bottles can be bought to take home or enjoyed on site with a charcuterie plate. The monks' cheese is made in limited quantities and is sometimes sold out. You can pay by card or mobile, and the entrance is not wheelchair accessible. Private events can be arranged.
