This foundation was behind Aarhus 2017, when Aarhus and the other 18 municipalities of Region Midtjylland (Central Denmark Region) were European Capital of Culture. More than 10,000 people from across the region took part in developing the project, and under the theme "Let's Rethink" the region became a cultural laboratory for alternative solutions.
The foundation is based in Dokk1. Its website has a section on the preliminary effects of the Capital of Culture year, a news archive from 2018 and a page on the history of Aarhus 2017 with a PowerPoint presentation.
