This centre supports, promotes and develops voluntary social work in Aarhus Municipality. A community guide helps people find a community or activity, or become a volunteer, and a conversation can be booked on the website. The centre also runs Socialkompas, a search service for activities, and self-help groups that put people in touch with others in the same situation.
Associations can become members and use rooms, internet, a copier and a kitchen, as well as courses, theme meetings, lectures, advice and networks. Start-up help for new associations and initiatives is also offered to non-members. Companies can join En Dag for en Sag, an employee day with a volunteer effort. The entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible.
