This umbrella organisation serves idea-based, civically engaged youth associations in Aarhus Municipality. It supports its members and represents them towards authorities and organisations, and it is a consultation partner for the municipality. It is also the secretariat for the Children and Youth City Council (Børne- og ungebyrådet).
Members get advice on association work, such as recruiting volunteers and fundraising, and can borrow from an equipment bank free of charge. The organisation offers an annual course programme and two grant pools, one for buildings and renovation and one for expensive equipment, and publishes a board-work guide.
