This association was founded in 1972 by Evald Krog as a democratic community for people with muscular dystrophy. It works for people with muscular dystrophy and ALS and their relatives, offering communities, networks, advice on aids, support and information on rights. It supports research into the two conditions, runs the conversation forum Pærspektiv.dk and founded RehabiliteringsCenter for Muskelsvind, which offers respiratory treatment and rehabilitation.
Fundraising includes the music festival Grøn, the children's circus Cirkus Summarum and the cycling tour Forskelsfeltet. There are summer camps for children and young people, and lectures. You can become a member or donate, and the entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible.
