This sports association in Odense offers handball, football, badminton, American football, Australian football, yoga/qigong and Idræt for Sindet (sport for mental wellbeing). It is run by volunteers and is open to children, young people, adults and seniors of any level. It was founded on 31 March 1937 as a gymnastics club, when Bolbro was a small suburb with about 1,500 inhabitants, and took its current name in 1980.
The handball department grew strongly from the 1940s: the men played in the top division in 1970-1972, and the women won Danish championships in the 1950s. The football department was set up in 1979, and Bolbro Hall was inaugurated on 1 December 1978.
