This association works to make Odense city centre accessible to all types of users, to attract guests and visitors, to support living in the city and to extend the length of stay. It promotes Odense City as an attractive destination and represents its more than 250 members towards the authorities in matters of local plans and bylaws. The board consists of volunteer business owners.
The association organises events such as the H.C. Andersen Christmas market, a second-hand market and a toy market, as well as a monthly international food market at Flakhaven. Members include shops, restaurants and cafés, and gift cards can be used at more than 200 of them. The city office closes during festivals. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
