This restaurant sits in Frederiksberg Gardens in a historic house built in 1682 for raising pheasants for the royal hunts. The kitchen follows the seasons with classic dishes, smørrebrød (Danish open sandwiches), coffee and cake, and behind the house is a small kitchen garden with herbs and bees. Several rooms with stucco ceilings and colourful wallpaper each have their own character. It is listed in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide.
In the garden you can sit outside and play petanque. Tables can be booked online, and groups of eight or more can have a shared lunch menu. The house hosts Christmas lunches and private parties, with a tent in the garden for larger groups. Allergies and diets are catered for if you tell them in advance.
