The restaurant is in Copenhagen, just around the corner from Nyhavn, and opened in 1978. It describes itself as the first Indian/Pakistani restaurant in Denmark serving dishes from traditional recipes of the region. The kitchen makes its own curry from whole spices such as bay leaf, fennel, cumin, coriander, cardamom, turmeric, chilli, ginger and garlic. Dishes are served medium-spiced but can be adapted, including for allergens.
You can eat in, take away or order online, and catering is available for private events, receptions and Christmas lunches. The rooms in the old building host business events for up to 65 people. Tables can be booked, and there is a children's menu. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
