This small recycling station is run by ARC for private households with small amounts of sorted waste or reusable items. Waste is sorted into 12 types. It is the oldest of ARC's small recycling stations, opened in 1998. There is a swap area with shelves and clothes racks where you can leave or take items, and retired librarians help visitors find books as volunteers.
The station is for pedestrians and cyclists only, as there is no room for cars or trailers. Business, garden and construction waste is not accepted. You can borrow a cargo bike or trailer for up to two hours on presentation of a health insurance card, driving licence or passport, but it cannot be booked in advance. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
