This small local recycling station is run by ARC and takes sorted waste and reusable items from private households. There is no room for cars or trailers, so visitors come on foot or by bicycle. It is a temporary station built from containers, and waste is sorted into 12 categories. Two swap containers hold knick-knacks, toys, books, clothing and small furniture.
Business, garden and construction waste and sanitary equipment are not accepted. You can borrow cargo bikes and hand carts for up to two hours against a health insurance card, driving licence or passport, and green bio-waste bags are available. Volunteers can help keep the swap area tidy. It is closed on 24, 25, 26 and 31 December and 1 January. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
