This recycling centre in Copenhagen is run by ARC, the waste company owned by five municipalities: Copenhagen, Frederiksberg, Tårnby, Hvidovre and Dragør. It accepts almost all types of waste for recycling and has a separate reuse area for household items, furniture, building materials and garden goods. The reuse area closes 15 minutes before the centre itself.
Cyclists and pedestrians enter from Borups Allé, cars from Nordre Fasanvej. The centre is closed on 24-26 and 31 December and on 1 January. School classes from grades 0 to 9 in the five municipalities can get guided visits and teaching, including trips to the Amager Bakke waste-to-energy plant. A visit with English-language guiding is also offered. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
