This recycling centre is run by ARC, a municipal waste company owned by Copenhagen, Frederiksberg, Tårnby, Hvidovre and Dragør. It accepts almost all types of waste and has a reuse area for household items, furniture, DIY materials and garden items, open every day.
Groups such as schools, companies and associations can book a visit with a presentation on waste handling and a tour of the Amager Bakke waste-to-energy plant, also in English. Teaching for grades 0-9 is offered to schools in the five owner municipalities. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
