This recycling centre in Christianshavn is run by ARC, the Amager Resource Center, a waste company owned by the municipalities of Copenhagen, Frederiksberg, Tårnby, Hvidovre and Dragør. Almost all types of waste can be dropped off here. Asphalt, windows, soil, gravel, sand and asbestos must go to one of ARC's regular recycling centres. Clothes, shoes, bottles and packaging glass cannot be left here.
ARC offers guided visits and teaching for schools, companies and associations, including the waste-to-energy plant. Visits must be booked in advance. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but the parking is not.
