SSP is an interdisciplinary collaboration between schools, social services and the police in Copenhagen that works to prevent crime among children and young people. Its work is about spotting early signs of poor well-being, risky behaviour and crime, and acting on them.
It offers guidance for young people, parents and professionals. For 7th and 8th grade classes in the City of Copenhagen there is a dialogue programme, En teenager i familien (A Teenager in the Family), about youth life and alcohol. A folder for professionals covers concern about children and young people affected by extremism, negative social control or honour-related conflicts.
