This trade union and professional association for social workers in Denmark was founded in 1938 and has about 18,000 members, all of whom hold a social work degree or are students. It has full bargaining rights, belongs to the confederation FH and works on the working environment, further education and ethics.
Members receive the magazine Socialrådgiveren every two weeks and can use a salary calculator, a maternity leave calculator and a holiday calculator. There are webinars, courses and local regional groups, plus a section with guides and tools for shop stewards. A solidarity fund supports social work projects abroad.
