This association in Copenhagen gives financial grants to people who have been in conflict with the criminal code, in order to prevent new crime. It has existed since 1950 and has published anniversary books on its history, including one covering 1950 to 2001.
Applications are sent by e-mail and filled in by the client's caseworker at the Danish Prison and Probation Service (Kriminalforsorgen). They must state the client's financial situation, the amount requested and which municipality has already been approached.
