This association brings together people who work with traditional and modern artistic blacksmithing in Denmark. It covers every kind of work with iron: Viking-age, medieval and Renaissance smithing, restoration, tools, and modern art and design.
It organises the Danish and Nordic championships in smithing, as well as courses and events, including a smithing festival. It has a board and local smith groups, and membership is open. There is also a "150mm challenge", and the rules for the championship are published.
