This harbour square lies between Dokk1 and Navitas on the Aarhus waterfront, with views over the water and the city. It holds the art fountain Endless Connection by Jeppe Hein, a large water pavilion with walls of water jets over two metres high that change form and invite play. There are wooden benches and a football and basketball area, and the square hosts exhibitions, markets and concerts from time to time.
It is named after the merchant Herman Salling and links the city centre with Aarhus Ø. It is free, and dogs are allowed. The light rail runs to the square, and there is paid parking in the Dokk1 underground car park. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
