This restaurant and event venue in Aarhus has views over the bay and Marselisborg Forest. The building was designed by architect Eggert C. Achen and opened in 1909, during the national exhibition, as a forest restaurant. The name comes from the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Varna and means "beautiful view". In 1971 the interior was redesigned by Verner Panton for the Odd Fellow lodge. It serves brunch, lunch and dinner, and hosts concerts and private parties.
Table reservations are accepted, and there is outdoor seating. Beer, wine, cocktails and coffee are served, but there is no takeaway or delivery. It suits groups, and parking is free. The entrance, toilet and parking are wheelchair accessible, and cards and mobile payment are accepted.
