This university offers bachelor's, master's, engineering, continuing education and PhD programmes, with study cities in Odense, Esbjerg, Kolding, Sønderborg and Vejle. It was founded in 1966, and Vejle is an international IT campus. It awards a teaching prize and a communication prize for researchers, and runs public outreach and a press room with experts for journalists.
New students are welcomed with an introduction week with tutors, and there is an annual party. The entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible.
