This traditional Danish inn in Odense is in a half-timbered house whose history goes back to the 1500s. The present building dates from 1856, and the place has been a restaurant for over 100 years. It is still run by the Knudsen family, who also own the buildings. The kitchen serves classic Danish food such as Funen egg cake, pariserbøf (Parisian-style beef patty), tarteletter and smørrebrød, Danish open sandwiches.
Tables can be booked online with a note for allergies. There is free parking at the back, with room for a coach. There is outdoor seating, and the entrance, parking and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
