This café is in H.C. Andersen Haven in Odense, in the round houses with green roofs, a few minutes' walk from the pedestrian street. It serves brunch, lunch and dinner made from scratch with seasonal ingredients. Brunch is build-your-own with 3, 5 or 7 elements, and lunch is smørrebrød (Danish open sandwiches) and dishes named after Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales. Bread, butter and desserts are made in-house.
On Friday and Saturday evenings there is a sharing-plate menu. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are marked on the menu, and children under 14 can have a children's menu. Tables can be booked online, and private parties can be held outside opening hours.
