This association is a local branch of BROEN Danmark, which supports socially disadvantaged children and young people. The support covers membership fees, equipment and, where needed, transport, so children can take part in local sports, scouting, music, dance or theatre. Funding comes from foundations, funds and private donors.
Children are referred through caseworkers, health visitors, teachers, pedagogues and others who work with young people. Applications are made through a form on the website. The association is approved by the Danish Fundraising Board (Indsamlingsnævnet).
