This restaurant serves classic Danish food in the former Royal Court Pharmacy, a historic building in Copenhagen. The menu includes smørrebrød (Danish open sandwiches), among them a deluxe platter with curry herring, egg, shrimp, roast beef and plaice fillet with remoulade. Fried pork belly with parsley sauce is served ad libitum on selected days, and dinner dishes include roast duck and steak with béarnaise.
In autumn there is a Martinmas goose menu, also as take-away, and at Christmas a julefrokost (the traditional Christmas lunch) for groups. Evenings bring candlelight and live music. There is outdoor seating and a children's menu, and tables can be booked online or by phone. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
