This restaurant serves traditional home-cooked Danish food and smørrebrød, Danish open sandwiches, in old-fashioned surroundings in Copenhagen. It focuses on good ingredients and a classic Danish lunch. Dishes include Skagen toast, pan-fried plaice fillet, homemade liver pâté and pariserbøf, and it has won the title Herring of the Year (Årets Sild) at the Hirtshals Fish Festival.
For groups there are smørrebrød menus, and in the Christmas season a traditional julefrokost, the Danish Christmas lunch, is served at the table. Tables can be booked on the website, and there is outdoor seating and kerbside pickup. There is no delivery, and the entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
