This traditional lunch restaurant serves smørrebrød (Danish open sandwiches), frikadeller and roast pork in a classic setting with red checkered tablecloths, royal portraits and historical paintings. It is one of the oldest lunch restaurants in central Copenhagen, and the building on a street corner in the old town was rebuilt in 1796 after the great fire of 1795. The restaurant has existed since 1929.
