This restaurant serves North Indian and Pakistani dishes in the style of the Mughal kitchen. There are slow-cooked curries, tandoor grill dishes, biryani and tandoori naan, with signature spice blends ground by hand and made daily. The concept is a diwan, a royal court where emperors feasted, and the restaurant recreates these banquets. It has been run by the same family since 1989, and the menu is, according to the restaurant, halal certified.
There are vegan and vegetarian options and a selected wine list. It is open every evening, and tables can be booked online. Takeaway and delivery are available, and it is good for children. Seating is wheelchair accessible, but the entrance is not.
