This national association for cyclists in Denmark works for more cycling and better conditions for cyclists. It runs the school campaigns Alle Børn Cykler in September and Lys På for third grade in November, and volunteer adults (skolecykelvenner) accompany classes on bike trips. The Cykelværftet project collects, repairs and hands out bicycles to residents of asylum centres.
There are local branches across most of the country with cycle tours, do-it-yourself workshops and debate meetings. Free cycling guides are available, and members get legal help after a cycling accident and the magazine Cyklister. Membership comes in ordinary, digital, household, senior and company forms.
