This Danish restaurant on Vesterbro serves traditional, old-fashioned cooking and classic Danish dishes. It was the local haunt of the author Tove Ditlevsen, and its guests range from business people and students to older local residents. Smørrebrød (Danish open sandwiches) is served every day from noon to 4 pm, and the kitchen is open into the evening.
It seats about 120, and groups of up to 60 can sit in the same room. You can book a table, preferably before 4 pm, and there is indoor and outdoor seating, takeaway and a children's menu. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
