The company develops the district on the former Carlsberg brewery grounds in central Copenhagen. The area was closed industrial land for 160 years before it opened to the public, and when complete it will include about 3,100 new homes as well as workplaces, shops and restaurants. Some of the listed buildings have been turned into offices and cultural spaces, and the area has sculptures, reliefs and memorial plaques.
The company leases offices, shop premises and space for cafés and restaurants, and more than 35 companies are based in the district. The entrance and the parking are wheelchair accessible.
