This bakery and pastry shop in Copenhagen was founded in 1876 and has been run by the same family for four generations. Everything is made by hand without additives, with real butter in the scones and kanelhorn (cinnamon pastries) and real cream and vanilla in the fillings. The rye bread uses a sourdough kept in the family for several generations, and the flour comes partly from Mejnerts Mølle. The range includes French and Nordic breads, scones, wienerbrød (Danish pastries), brunkager (ginger biscuits) and spelt rolls.
There is seating as well as takeaway, and there is a web shop. The staff are trained bakers and pastry chefs who give personal advice. Cards and mobile payments are accepted.
