This 22-hectare nature park has free-roaming sika deer, fallow deer and wild boar, and is open year-round during daylight. The wild boar live in a separate enclosure in the southern part, closed to the public. There is a viewpoint over Skambækken, Varna Dam, Aarhus Bay and Mols, and walking, cycling and running routes link the park to the city centre.
Admission is free. The animals are wild and must not be fed. Visitors are asked not to run or cycle in the park, and signs at the entrances warn during the calving and rutting periods. There is parking by the main entrances, and the entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible.
