This is a cultural institution and urban space in Aarhus, built on industrial heritage: the concrete structure of the bridge. It lies in the South Harbour and is designed for creators and guests of the cultural scene, and tens of thousands of visitors have come for culture, food, views and knowledge.
The bridge is owned by Aarhus Municipality, while the association Kulbroens Venner runs the site day to day, as it has since the project began in late 2014. The site includes Kulbro Lab, a cultural house, and Kulbro View, a viewing platform by the bridge.
