This Church of Denmark church in Aarhus, in Sankt Markus parish, was consecrated on 27 October 1935. It was designed by Thomas Havning, the royal building inspector, who won an architectural competition in 1932, and it combines functionalism with a medieval-inspired style. The interior is simple, with a large barrel vault and tall windows. The altar frieze by Sven Havsteen-Mikkelsen dates from 1996, and the 1967 organ, with 41 stops in untreated oak, is used for services and concerts.
The large parish hall lies in the side wing, and Klostergården, from 1982, houses the church offices. The Jutland branch of the Pastoral Seminary has been based in the church since 1970. The entrance, parking and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
