The cathedral stands on Store Torv in central Aarhus. Carl Nielsen's only large organ work, Commotio, was premiered here in 1931. The parish runs the church and a church office at Skt. Clemens Gård.
There are Sunday services, christenings and a weekday lunch service. The church hosts concerts with the cathedral organist and the Aarhus Domkirkes Kantori choir, lecture mornings and guided tours, and many events are free. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, and there is a toilet.
