This public park in central Odense is an old royal garden linked to the history of Odense Castle (Odense Slot). The municipality calls it the city's most important green area and a link between the city centre, the railway station centre and the harbour. The garden is decorated with art and sculptures from different periods, including a bronze statue of King Frederik VII from 1868 and a 1993 work of nine semicircular domes that emit sounds.
The park is used for play, picnics and summer concerts. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
