The main library in Odense is in Borgernes Hus and is the central library of Odense Bibliotekerne. You can read newspapers on site, print, copy and scan, and use the music collection. The library offers individual Danish language training and a weekly language café, both free, as well as themed book clubs and exhibitions. Café Ordet is in Borgernes Hus, and there are services for children, young people and parents.
On public holidays it is open with self-service and no staff. Digital services require a library account for residents of Odense Municipality, and some are open to everyone. The Biblioteket app gives access on mobile. The entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible.
