This publisher was founded in 1966 together with Odense University, now the University of Southern Denmark, and is run as a self-owning foundation. Its task is to publish textbooks and scholarly literature, and it has traditionally been strongest in the humanities and social sciences.
Its titles cover philosophy and religion, history, sport, art and architecture, medicine and natural science, language and literature, educational research, book series, journals and e-books. Books are shipped with PostNord, and customer service is available on weekdays.
