This mosque in Odense is run by a voluntary, membership-based Islamic community, and it is described as the largest on Funen. The building is a converted warehouse bought with donations from Funen's Muslims, and it opened for Friday prayer in 1996. Five daily prayers and a sunrise prayer are held, and the times are shown on the website.
Guided tours and lectures can be booked and are offered to students and employees. The community also runs Amalskolen, where children learn Arabic, and the youth association Muslimsk Ungdom i Danmark. The mosque accepts donations and volunteer help, and used clothing can be handed in. The entrance, parking and toilet are wheelchair accessible, and the website is in Danish and Arabic.
