This hotel and conference centre stands on the coast at Nyborg, where forest meets sea, with its own beach and bathing jetty. It opened in 1967, and the name comes from the Hesselet woods. There is a restaurant with gourmet menus, a spa, massage, a hot tub, a pool and a gym, and the house is used for meetings, conferences, private parties and weddings. The restaurant is listed in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide.
There is free parking, free Wi-Fi and free breakfast, and pets are welcome. The hotel is good for children, and the entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible. There is room service and a bar, but no air conditioning. You can book by phone, e-mail or on the hotel's website.
