The brewery in Refsvindinge near Nyborg was founded in 1885 by Hans Poul Rasmussen and has been run by the same family across four generations. John and Ellen Rasmussen took it over in 2001 as the fourth generation. It is known for its door sales (dørsalg), where you can mix your own case of bottles. The range includes ales, pilsners, wheat beers, bock, guldøl, porter, stout, hvidtøl, IPA, seasonal beers and alcohol-free beer.
The brewery offers beer tastings and guided tours that cover its history, plus a package with an overnight stay in its cabins. It is wise to phone ahead for a specific beer, as not all are always in stock. Cards and mobile payments are accepted, and the entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible.
