This public open-water bathing facility on the Øresund in Amager Strandpark, Copenhagen, is part of the municipal swimming service SvømKBH. It has separate sections for men and women as well as a mixed section, and admission is free during the summer season. There is a personal lift for changes of level.
The facility is open to everyone from 1 May to 30 September, from 6 am to 10 pm. Lifeguards and access to the gender-specific sections are available from 23 June to 31 August, 10 am to 6 pm. Year-round bathing and sauna are offered through Det Kolde Gys, which offers winter bathing. The entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible, and a virtual 360-degree tour is available on the website.
