The library in Brønshøj stands next to Brønshøj Torv and is known for the many plants in its windows. It is part of Copenhagen Libraries (Københavns Biblioteker). The ground floor has book displays, newspaper reading and a coffee machine, and the local history society is in the basement. The first floor has books, citizen services (borgerservice), study spots and one of Copenhagen's largest children's libraries, with a puppet theatre.
A study room can be booked in person, and a large event room with professional sound and lighting holds up to 120 people. There are regular literary events and communities such as morning singing (Morgensang) and reading clubs. The library carries the Access Denmark label, and several buses stop at the door.
