This family-owned waffle bakery was founded in 1953 and calls itself one of the few remaining of the old kind. The waffles are baked fresh on site to a secret recipe from 1920, and the Belgian waffles are made with five kinds of sugar and caramelised sugar crystals on the outside. It also sells cream and sorbet ice cream, whipped cream, homemade guf (Danish marshmallow sweets) and freshly ground coffee.
You can eat in or take away, but there is no delivery. Take-away is packed in sustainable packaging. It is child-friendly, and card and mobile payments are accepted. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
