This cafe in Vesterbro, Copenhagen, has been running since 1986 and is an informal place for coffee, food and community. The food is made from scratch with fresh ingredients, and it is known for buns, brunch, seasonal daily specials, homemade cake and mini dishes. It is part of the organisation Settlementet, where staff, volunteers and trainees work together. There are regular quizzes, bingo, knitting meetups and communal singing.
You can take away bread, buns and coffee, and gluten-free and vegan options are always available. Tables can be booked by e-mail or Instagram, indoors only. Outdoor seating is first come, first served. Dogs are welcome on a leash. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
